Berlin, January 2, 2024 

Four intensive months lie behind the SIBB Incubator, which started on September 1, 2023 with seven new talented teams. Our start-ups have really hit the ground running and have already profiled their ideas in many areas. We are impressed by how quickly the founders are able to implement their ideas and how motivated they are to pursue them.

A brief look back: 
The Incubator started with the task of conducting many user interviews and thus developing the idea close to the market. In all cases, this has already led to a clearer understanding of the target group, and sometimes also to slight shifts in the original idea.



At the same time, the teams developed clear role allocations, established the OKR system for tracking objectives and thus set the course for a sustainable, well-functioning collaboration.



How do we support the startups? We facilitate workshops, offer monthly coaching with head coach Urte Zahn, create pitch opportunities, do concept sparring and do introductions. And we also offer events, of course, like Ask Female Founders and other events like VC funding for startups.

The incubator community also grew together, and in every workshop and feedback session you can feel the benevolent mutual support of the teams, who are facing similar challenges but in completely different industries. It's great to see how everyone gets involved and supports each other during this challenging phase. The SIBB incubator team is also providing support here, and the two team days to get to know each other better played a particularly important role.



We are proud of the fact that many teams have already been able to acquire their first pilot customers or build up a waiting list and feedback community.

One team also won first place in a pitch competition - more pitch opportunities will come. 



What's coming in 2024?

We will start with a kick-off session and then focus on product development and generating traction, i.e. market response.

Finally, the topic of further financing is also coming closer and the development of a convincing business model that guarantees the monetary implementation of innovative ideas.

On our Demo Day, June 27, all start-ups will then present themselves: with their team, their product, their market resonance and their vision. Save the date!

We are looking forward to it and are curious what the next six months will be like.

Vier intensive Monate liegen hinter dem SIBB Incubator, der am 1.9.2023 mit sieben neuen talentierten Teams startete. Unsere Startups haben richtig reingehauen und ihre Idee bereits in vielen Bereichen profiliert. Wir sind beeindruckt, wie schnell die Gründerinnen und Gründer ihre Ziele umsetzen, unsere Tipps annehmen und wie motiviert sie ihre Ideen verfolgen.

Ein kurzer Rückblick:

Der Incubator startete mit der Aufgabe, viele User Interviews zu machen und die Idee damit dicht am Markt zu entwickeln. Dies hat in allen Fällen bereits zu einem klareren Verständnis der Zielgruppe und manchmal auch zu leichten Verschiebungen der ursprünglichen Idee geführt.
 
Parallel dazu entwickelten die Teams klare Rollenverteilungen, etablierten das OKR-System zur Zielverfolgung und stellten damit die Weichen für eine nachhaltig gut funktionierende Zusammenarbeit.

Was machten wir dabei? Wir stellen Workshops bereit, bieten monatliche Coachings mit Headcoach Urte Zahn an, schaffen Pitch-Möglichkeiten, machen Konzeptberatung und stellen die Startups an geeigneter Stelle vor. Und wir bieten natürlich auch Veranstaltungen an, wie Ask Female Founders und andere Veranstaltungen wie VC-Finanzierung für Startups.
 
Auch die Incubator-Community wuchs zusammen, in jedem Workshop und in jeder Feedback-Session spürt man die wohlwollende gegenseitige Unterstützung der Teams, die ja vor ähnlichen Herausforderungen, aber in ganz gegensätzlichen Branchen stehen. Hier ist es toll zu sehen, wie sich alle einbringen und sich bei diesem herausfordernden Phase unterstützen. Das Inkubator-Team des SIBB unterstützt auch hier, besonders die beiden Team-Tage zum besseren Kennenlernen spielten hier eine wichtige Rolle.
 
 Stolz sind wir darauf, dass viele Teams auch schon ihren ersten Pilotkunden akquirieren konnten, oder eine Warteliste und Feedback-Community aufbauen konnten.
 
Auch einen ersten Platz bei einem Pitch-Wettbewerb konnte ein Team verbuchen - weitere Pitchmöglichkeiten werden kommen. 
 
 Was kommt 2024?

Wir starten mit einer Kick-Off-Session und legen danach einen Schwerpunkt auf die Produktentwicklung und das Generieren von Traction, also einer Resonanz am Markt.
 
 Schließlich rückt auch das Thema weitere Finanzierung näher und die Ausarbeitung eines überzeugenden Geschäftsmodells, das die monetäre Umsetzung der innovativen Ideen garantiert.

An unserem Demo-Day, dem 27.6., werden sich dann alle Startups präsentieren: mit ihrem Team, ihrem Produkt, ihrer Markt-Resonanz und ihrer Vision. Save the date!
