Open Climate Collabathon

Brandenburger Technologieabend - Teltow

Net Impact ESMT Berlin together with Yale Open Lab wants to set up an open-source online information network where data will be collected and standardized, creating the first unified carbon accounting platform.⁣ The goal of this hackathon is to build a solution to get a clear picture and better understanding of our CO2 emissions.

The collaborative hackathon will begin on November 16th at a 2-day on-campus launch at Yale University and continue for two weeks in decentralized efforts around the world until December 6th at the UNFCCC COP25 summit. The project will continue as an open source initiative with further events and collective development sprints throughout 2020.

Lets show how the power of collaboration can create an impactful paradigm shift necessary to addressing climate change.
