Berlin, March 12, 2024 – SIBB e.V. launches new event series on Human Resources (HR). The inaugural event, Role Model Day Diversity, took place successfully on March 6, 2024. The event was hosted by SIBB in collaboration with the AG Diversity of the Startup Unit at Berlin Partner.
The first Role Model Day Diversity made a significant statement about diversity and equal opportunities in the industry by showcasing inspiring personalities. Participants included Max Appenroth, Founder of Diversity Factory and trans activist, Lela Griessbach, Founder of MyGeorgia and Manager at Deloitte, and Nicole Molina, Founder of Mi tribu and Intercultural Coach at Frauenalia gUG. They all served as role models for diversity and inclusion, discussing successful career paths as well as challenges and barriers faced by marginalized groups in the IT and internet industry.
The event kicked off with an inspiring keynote by Max Appenroth, followed by an interactive panel that engaged participants, providing space for questions and discussions. Subsequently, there was ample opportunity for networking and exchange during a get-together.
