Export, outsource and run pilot projects with Moscow, Russia!

In frame of the project Deep Tech Hub Russland, SIBB e.V. had organized an informational webinar with networking for German businesses interested to explore the opportunities in Moscow, that appears as the centre of gravity, city of opportunities and gate to the rest of Russia. According to StartupBlink 2021, Moscow is the Europe's № 1 in startup ecosystem development.

Session started with welcoming remarks by Sergey Nikitin, Chief, Representation of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany.

Which broad overview of opportunities available in the Russian capital?

Suren Vardanyan, Managing Director, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, that unites more than 3800 company members, provided an overview of Moscow economics, support and restrictions available for the foreign investors, and covered possibilities for the cooperation in 2022. It is important to highlight GISP platform – guide for foreign businesses helping to start on the Russian market.

Svetlana Urnysheva, Head of Piloting projects, Moscow Agency of Innovatons, introduced possibilities to test a deep tech solution in Moscow almost without any financial or legal commitment. With 160 pilot projects, full support and success names like Neurochat, Evocargo and OVision, this program is indeed a great bridge to Moscow for German tech.

Hannes Farlock, Managing Director, DEinternational, tackled the angle of sourcing and nearshoring in Russia for German-based companies. He had highlighted national project Digital Economy, startup initiatives of DEInternational and availabilities and true impact of working with Moscow IT companies.

After the presentations, audience had a chance to interact with speaker organizations in breakout sessions.
