Our accelerator is committed to Diversity and Women in Tech. This shows in our founders as well as in our workshop program. This week is our Diversity week: Startup teams learn about Diversity and Bias.
Diversity skills are an increasingly-important key to success for teams, companies, and individuals, both globally and within Germany. With the right skill set, diversity can improve creativity, flexibility, and resilience. In this workshop, founders investigated what diversity could mean for their company and examine the benefits of diversity in the workplace.
- the role (unconscious) bias plays (both in workplace relationships and in customer/client relationships) and how prior beliefs, values, or experiences influence how we see the world.
- a deeper look at the challenges presented by colliding perspectives through the lens of cultural diversity and develop concrete strategies to anticipate and navigate differences in expectations and values.
- Using a variety of interactive methods, with a focus on real-life, relevant case studies, participants will develop their diversity toolkit and will have ample opportunity to integrate personal experience.
