Rami studierte Volkswirtschaft (M.Sc.) an der Universität Potsdam. Im Jahr 2011 gründete er das Softwareunternehmen TenMedia.

TenMedia betreibt und entwickelt branchen- und industrieübergreifende Individualsoftware als Systempartner für Unternehmen und öffentliche Institutionen, als Gründer eigener Anwendungen und als Co-Founder. Zu seinem Leistungsprofil gehören die Konzeption und technische Umsetzung von Datenbanken und Softwareanwendungen. Seit Gründung war er als leitender Entwickler federführend in der Umsetzung div. Projekte beteiligt.
