Founding members of a startup often enter into a union for several years, if not decades. That the chemistry among each other must be right is therefore essential for the success of the project to be aimed at. In permanent pandemic and online times, however, this essential matchmaking and getting to know each other has come too short and could conditionally only take place on the computer.

Our 30 participants of the Co-founders matching could clearly see how much fun they had exchanging ideas with like-minded people and finding common ground for a possible startup idea. After a short pitch session, where the participants could present themselves in a one-minute pitch, it was all about networking in several speed-geeking rounds. 

The fact that some participants were still involved in deep after the event showed how valuable this exchange was for most of them. We at SIBB hope that this kind of event will make a further contribution to the startup scene and Berlin as a startup location.
