Innotesting Conference 2017 - Correlation of Simulation and Test Results

Datum:  Donnerstag, 23.02.2017 - Freitag, 24.02.2017

Ort:  Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt Schönefelder Kreuz ZLR III, Schmiedestr. 2, 15745 Wildau

Veranstalter:  Wildau Institute of Technology | TH Wildau | BBAA e.V.

The annual InnoTesting conference in Wildau (near Berlin) has gained a reputation as an international event for the exchange of ideas and experience in the field of simulation and testing in the aerospace industry as well as for the automotive sector, rail systems and electric power generation.

The 6th InnoTesting in 2017 will offer the opportunity to discuss problems of correlation of the results of computer-based simulations with those of conventional testing procedures in a circle of experts from the business world and academia. Simulations allow many test-runs for significantly lower costs than a test with a physical object, but to model real-life conditions might prove difficult - leading to distorted results.

As in the years before a workshop “Vibration and Shock-Testing“ organized by the GUS - Society for Environmental Simulation is integrated in the event.

You are cordially invited to contribute your insights and experience in a presentation in one of the workshop sessions. Presentations from an engineering perspective are welcome as well as those concentrating on economic or legal aspects or any combination of these. We gladly accept theoretical work and practical case studies. Contributions with a general interest to the simulation and testing expert community may also be considered.

To join the speaker team of InnoTesting 2017 please submit an abstract for a presentation. It should consist of about 250 words and include: title of your paper, name(s), affiliation and address of author(s) including phone and e-mail. Presentations will be 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion. Please submit your proposal until January 15, 2017 at the latest.

Authors can expect to be notified of admittance or rejection of their proposal January 25, 2017. The final paper or presentation should be sent in until February 15, 2017. Please send your abstract via e-mail mentioning “InnoTesting Conference” in the reference line to For more information visit our conference website:
